Trash Service for the Eclipse

As we prepare for the Solar Eclipse we want our customers to know in advance about some changes in services that week. Due to expected heavy traffic, our trucks will not be operating on Monday, August 21st, and offices will be closed. All services will be pushed one day back; this includes trash, recycle, food scraps and yard debris services. This means, if your service day is usually on Monday, this week it will be on Tuesday, if your service is normally on Tuesday, it will be on Wednesday and so on for the entire week, with Friday customers being serviced on Saturday.

Commercial customers should note that we will have limited routes available on Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th. If you are going to need extra service during this time before and after the eclipse, please call us to schedule as soon as possible. Calls received after Friday August 18th will not be scheduled for service until after the eclipse. Residential customers may put extra bags to the curb on their service day to be picked up for a minimal charge. As always, please make sure carts are out the curb the night before to ensure pick up. And don’t forget to protect our planet by removing and disposing of the plastic lens on your eclipse viewing glasses before recycling the frames!

For questions or to schedule services, please call our offices and we’ll be happy to assist. Thank you for your help as we prepare for this exciting event!
