I am a native Oregonian born in Albany. I was raised in Albany, Dallas, and Stayton, later returning to Albany. I graduated from Albany Union High, attended Oregon College of Education, Merit Davis School of Commerce and Chemeketa Community College.
I moved to Dallas in September 1967 upon marring my wife Alice, and we raised three daughters here.
I worked in the grocery business, and was a salesman for Frito Lay Inc. I was hired by the City of Dallas in 1983 as Fire Inspector and was promoted through the department until I retired as Fire Chief in 2013.
I have served on Governor-appointed Fire Service Committees and numerous organizations during my career.
I am available to anyone from our community that wishes to discuss Council issues and be assured I will be there to listen. Please reach out to me via email.
