Dallas Fire & EMS subscribes to the city's motto, "Come thrive with us, we invest in people and business," and you can be a part of this of this extraordinary team too! In order to qualify you must be 18 years or older; have a high school diploma or GED; live within the City of Dallas (or urban growth boundary); posses a valid Oregon drivers license; pass a criminal background check; and score fair or better on the Department Fitness Standard test. Come and see us to become a member of the Dallas Fire & EMS team!
We offer several volunteer opportunities for community members looking to join our team. These opportunities include:
- Suppression Firefighter
- Support Services (non firefighting activities)
- Special Services
- Chaplain
