Storyteller and musician Valentina Ortiz will present Animal Stories from Mexico and Beyond on

Thursday, September 12th at 4:00pm. Families with children can join us for an afternoon of fun-filled myths and stories.

 

Plant Exchange-Bring a plant and get a plant!

Saturday, September 14, 2024 - 12:00pm

Bring a pest-free, healthy plant, or two or three for trade; they can be potted, rooted cuttings in water,

or succulents. Must have a least one plant to trade. No invasive species. Please make sure

everything is potted in a container you're willing to part with.

 

En el Camino: Stories of Love and Friendship

Monday, September 16, 2024 - 6:30pm

Join us on Monday, September 16th at 6:30pm for storyteller Valentina Ortiz.

Valentina Ortiz speaks the stories of ancient and modern Mexico. She has traveled many

countries with her work, taking the Latin American traditions to audiences young and adult.

Her stories are entertaining, full of hope, a window into the daily life of the people of Mexico.

She moves comfortably from myth to the personal story, from folktale to her voice about migration.

 

Tween/Teen Tie Dye Bag

Friday, September 20, 2024 - 5:00pm

Tweens and teens ages 11 to 17 can join us on Friday, September 20th at 5:00pm to create a

tie dyed tote bag. We will provide the supplies for you to enjoy while you create your masterpiece!
