The City of Dallas has been a Tree City, USA Since 2008

Tree City, USA is a program sponsored by The National Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service and the Oregon Department of Forestry. It provides direction, technical assistance, public attention, and national recognition for urban and community forestry programs. Dallas is proud to be a Tree City, USA since 2008.

The State of Oregon celebrates Arbor Week the first full week of April. In conjunction with that, the City of Dallas Celebrates Arbor Day on Friday of the first full week of April.
