Duties & Responsibilities

The Historic Preservation Commission consists of five (5) members and makes recommendations to the City Council and Planning Commission regarding matters of historic preservation. 

The commission meets no less than four times per year, or as needed, on the second Wednesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. 

Members of this commission are recommended by the Mayor and appointed by the City Council. The commission also is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Historic Resource Survey.
