Important Notice for Contractors & Homeowners
The City of Dallas Building Department uses the State of Oregon IVR System for Inspections.
Schedule Your Inspections:
Any customer can schedule or track inspections online at www.buildingpermits.oregon.gov. They can also call or text the word "schedule" to 1-888-299-2821 – then use their IVR Tracking Number to schedule/reschedule/cancel inspections.
As well, customers can schedule inspections using the Oregon ePermitting Inspection Scheduling App, search “epermitting” in the app store.

The City of Dallas Building Division reviews new construction and remodeling plans for buildings inside the city limits of Dallas. You may request a morning or afternoon inspection, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee inspections at your requested time; inspection will be performed at some time during the scheduled day. Also, Friday inspections are scheduled in the mornings only. We do not do inspections on Friday afternoons, weekends, or holidays.
