Code Services Division

Responsibilities

Code Services works with the public to correct violations of the Dallas City Code related to nuisances, vehicle storage and inoperable vehicles, signs and prohibited land uses. Code Services also works with the Dallas Police Department and other governmental agencies as necessary. The program strives to educate community members about the Dallas City Code, guiding the effort toward voluntary compliance before taking enforcement action.
