Fleet Maintenance Division
Fleet Maintenance organizes and manages a centralized vehicle and procurement operations for all departments for the City of Dallas. The vehicles and equipment range from emergency response vehicles, specialized trucks, mowers, trailers, tractors, generators and more. Daily responsibilities include maintaining vehicles and equipment and ensuring the safety of employees and citizens.
The Division aides in the acquisition of new vehicles and equipment as well as conducts the disposition of surplus vehicles and equipment that are no longer able to be cost-effective or repaired to meet the City’s goals.
The City of Dallas isn't the only community that benefits from our skilled and dedicated fleet staff. We currently have service Intergovernmental Agreements (IGAs) with nine other agencies for maintenance of some or all of their fleet.
